So when do kids normally first start drawing recognizable faces? Because I want to know if Jack is a supergenius or not.
Even if this is totally normal, which I'm sure it is, it's still exciting since the last time he painted it was just blobs of color. Man it's fun to watch them turn into people, is it not?

I'm thinking he might be a little advanced, there. Not ONLY is he connecting circles, which is some kind of milestone, I think -- but faces?? Nifty!
I love it! I'm partial, though, I have always thought jack was a supergenius, ever since I heard him say backhoe loader at the tender age of 20 months.
I have no idea, as we are only into drawing houses and (DUH) trains. SURPRISE. Well, occasionally a boat or submarine, but mostly trains. DON'T FORGET TO DRAW THE WHISTLE AND THE BELL.
I think an easel would be a great Christmas gift for Asher! Does Jack play with his a lot?
I have no idea what "normal" is. My kid started at about 2.5, much to the shock of her father and I. Just say supergenius and go from there.
Well, he is a super genius, the only question is whether he is an ARTISTIC super genius.
And the answer is yes, is my guess.
I don't when it is normal to start, but I have a picture of myself drawing a bunch of faces that look almost just like Jack's when I was 3 years and 4 months old....not sure when I started though. But I am a supergenius, so Jack is too.
Slightly advanced, totally adorable!!

Yup yup. Super-genius. It must run in the family, because his super-genius mother put him in that shirt, which is also what I dress my super-genius kiddo in. Maybe it'll become the super-genius uniform?
